Parasport Training

This means we are a recognized facility to train elite athletes, including elite para athletes. First Steps Wellness Centre (FSWC) has vast experience working with people who have neurological conditions, which has made the transition to offer a program to high performance para athletes very successful.

Canadian Sport Centre logoPrograms are custom designed to fit the needs of the athlete and their respected sport. During sessions athletes can expect to work on core strength, competition preparation, resistance training, and proper stretching techniques to help them better their performance.

FSWC is funded through an enhanced service program by the Canadian Sport Centre of Saskatchewan. With this funding FSWC is also able to offer group training on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 for individuals who are participating in para sport.
