Does this interest you? Here are your First Steps:
To participate in the FES cycling program, doctor’s clearance is required prior to scheduling your initial assessment. At your initial assessment, our therapist will review your documents, and complete an assessment to ensure the FES bike is suitable for you.
The cost to participate is $100/month. The cost of your first month in the program will be included in your initial assessment. The cost of electrodes is additional. Participants are welcome to bring their own electrodes, or purchase them through URO Medical, or FSWC.
Use of the FES bikes are available by appointment only. The bikes are available 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8am-6pm. If you have someone attending with you, our staff can teach them how to properly hook you up to the bike.
First Steps Wellness Centre is proud to unveil a community FES cycling program.
