The Intensive Therapy Program consists of 3 hours a day, 5 days per week, for 4 weeks. During this time, your child will receive one on one activity-based therapy with a highly trained exercise therapist. The cost for the 4 week program is $5,400. We are also able to accommodate longer or shorter sessions depending on availability.
The Customized Therapy Program is flexible in time and costs $90 per hour.

Our intensive sessions are held Monday through Friday with the option of a morning or afternoon session 9:00 am-12:00 pm or 1:00-4:00pm with flexibility available.

Our customized sessions are available during our open hours. Typically, this is from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

A typical day of the Intensive Program varies depending on the child’s needs, but may consist of the following:
  • Warm up and deep tissue massage
  • ROM/Stretching
  • Strengthening specific muscle groups responsible for functional movements
  • Tone reduction and sensory integration techniques
  • Decrease pathological movement patterns
  • Develop and improve proper movement patterns
  • Reflex integration
  • Functional electrical stimulation
  • Balance, coordination and endurance training
  • Transfers, functional activities and gait training
  • Use of the TheraSuit®
The customized sessions may include some or all parts of the above modalities
While research indicates greater gains may be accomplished during intensives, we do offer customized programming for those who don’t require an intensive.

The frequency that research suggests would be 2 to 4 times a year. As each child will have different needs, this is something the exercise therapist can discuss with the family to come up with the best, and most appropriate plan.

No, you do not. If you wish to purchase a TheraSuit®, you need to be trained in how to apply and adjust the bands in order to meet the anatomical/alignment needs of your child. If you wish to purchase your own TheraSuit®, the exercise therapist will assist you in how to use the suit while at home and will include that in your home program.

At this time, we have not had a commercial insurance carrier pay for an Intensive. We require the session to be prepaid. However, we will be happy to provide documentation to the family if they wish to submit the therapy hours to their insurance for consideration.

The only real way to participate in our program is to be at one of our facilities. How often you come into the facility and how much work you put in will all contribute to how much progress you ultimately make. We custom-design programs tailored to your specific situation so there are options available for those unable to travel. Please contact us to discuss our home program option.

We currently accept e-transfer, cash, debit, MasterCard, Visa, and cheque. We can process credit card payments over the telephone or in person.

No other program in western Canada combines the research, technology and therapeutic outcomes that our program provides. With combining multiple resources to target different aspects, our Children’s Program provides a rounded approach to help develop the child as a whole.
